Mental and physical illnesses are often intertwined and in many cases I can help. There are symptoms that cannot always be cured but this does not mean they cannot be reduced substantially under hypnosis. In cases of consuming illnesses such as cancer I would never persuade a patient to use hypnosis instead of conventional treatment, unless they insist on it because they object to conventional therapy (such as chemotherapy).
